Exceptional hand crafted fishing spinners for your best fishing adventures.
Large Fish Creek Spinners overview
The large Fish Creek Spinners model range from the 1/3oz Metal Armadillo up to our largest spinner the 3oz Double Bite Skirted Armadillo. These spinners catch large predatory fish in both freshwater and saltwater. They are strung on heavier gauge .051 inch stainless wire and typically have larger hooks, blades, and body components that add extra weight and endurance to match the challenges of heavier and more aggressive fish.
These large fishing spinners are Muskie fishing spinners, Pike Fishing Spinners, King Salmon fishing spinners, Chinook Salmon fishing spinners, Chum Salmon fishing spinners and also work well as Saltwater fishing spinners when rigged with Stainless hooks.
They've been fished successfully to catch Musky and Tiger Muskie, Northern Pike, Coho Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Chum Salmon, Steelhead and King Fish, Jack Crevalle, and last but not least,Tiger Fish.

The 3oz Double Bite Skirted Metal Armadillo is our largest fishing spinner and new this year. It's made for predatory fish like Musky, Tiger Fish, and all other large fish that strike spinners. They're new this year, but off to a great start; sold coast to coast and even fished on other continents. I'm very proud of this large double blade model. The body is strung on .051 in stainless wire and assembled from 9/32 inch nickel plated solid brass beads. Beads are painted with powder coat paint and baked to provide a durable finish. Sixteen blade and color variations are available by dropdown choice. See the 2oz version for pictures.
Double Silicon Starflash Skirts provide lots big fish attracting combinations. The Double #8 or #9 blades are .040in gauge Gold or Nickel. This blades chop some water and will create a wake over weedbeds, if retrieved with your rod tip raised. Colorado, Indiana, French and Fluted Indiana blades choices are available. Double Silicon Starflash skirts hide banded zonker treble hooks from #1/0 up to size #5/0. If you have the tackle to handle the big lures, you'll be very happy with this spinner models' performance.
2oz Double Bite Armadillo skirted Muskie Fishing Spinner
1oz Double Bite Armadillo skirted Muskie Fishing Spinner
1oz Double Blade Hula skirted muskie fishing spinner
The 1oz Hula Spinner is a good spring Musky fishing spinner. This was our first double blade spinner with interleaved clevises and it's had mixed results, catching some nice fish, but we've gotten a couple complaints about having to jump start it on entry to the water. It seemed to perform best with a fast retrieve.
If you prefer slow retrieves, I suggest the 2/3oz skirted June Bug Armadillo.
The Hula's body is strung on .040 inch stainless wire and assembled from a large nickel plated solid brass body component, accented with friction discs and faceted glass. Bodies are heated then dipped with powder coat and baked to provide a durable finish. Nine blade and color variations are shown. The Double #6 Colorado or Indiana blades are .028in gauge Brass or Nickel. This may be light for certain anglers, and we went with heavier blades on the 2-3oz versions. The double blades stir up water and will create a wake over weedbeds, if retrieved with your rod tip raised. A Silicon Starflash skirts hides hooks from #1/0 up to size #5/0. A single hook choice is available.

1oz Squid Salmon fishing spinner
1oz Spike Pike fishing spinner
2/3oz June Bug Armadillo salmon fishing spinner
The spinner has a couple unique attributes that should jump start it's success, next season.
First, the large June Bug blade has two points of rotation along the wire. The blade's perpendicular brace provides a fixed angle of rotation and a very unique reflective strobe. The fixed axis points also enable fixed rotation at very very slow speeds. Starting ad stopping frequently, gives the silicon skirt and zonker strips time to swell and compress in a fish enticing pulse.
The second feature is the split ring attached zonker banded treble hooks. The zonker strips are extremely fluid and full of motion when wet. The split ring positions the hooks at the break in the skirt, waving back and forth as retrieved. Finally, the split ring enables Hooks to be switched out or replaced to change zonker colors.
1/3oz Metal Armadillo salmon fishing spinner
Historically, the 1/3oz Metal Armadillo has been our best fishing spinner for Salmon. Whether in the Pacific Northwestern Rivers and Sounds or the North Central Great Lakes and Eastern Seaways, this fishing spinner is worth getting wet in your salmon favorite waters.
Put a bucktail or zonker banded treble on it and it's caught it's share of Tiger Muskies in New Mexico too.
The body is assembled from 9/32 inch nickel plated solid brass beads. Beads are painted with powder coat paint and baked to provide a durable finish. 26 color and blade variations provide lots of choices. The Super Willow blades can be either Gold, Brass, or Nickel and provide lots of strobe and noisy vibration as they collide with the metal friction disc spacers during rotation. The friction discs wobble along the wire for extra motion turbulence. Be sure to check out it's hydrophone record on the Spinner Noise page.

Check the underside of the blade after a period of use, and you'll notice the contact wear lines match the disc spacing, regardless of no contact at rest.
These spinners catch all species of trout, and any fish that strikes spinners.
You can listen to the sound differences between Glass and Metal Armadillos on the Noise page. Scroll down to find the Glass Armadillo.
1/8oz June Bug Transformer fishing spinner
June Bug blades don't use a clevis, they thread on the wire similar to an Inline blade, except this blade has two points of contact on the stainless wire. The perpendicular brace provides a unique fixed angle of rotation, allowing the blade to rotate at very slow retrieval speeds.
Another interesting development on this model is the zonker banded hook. This is also a new discovery this year. The model's called a Transformer because the hooks are attached with a slip R bend that seats inside the big tail bead. This connection method allows hook colors and types to be changed or replaced.
Nice! We've gotten a ton of email positive feedback on the model's performance, it's slow retrieval speeds and zonker hooks, but we still some need more pictures!
1/8oz Glow fishing spinner
The glow components heat up great with a black light flashlight for night fishing.
Doing any night fishing in familiar waters, you ought to try a couple of these!
1/8oz Glass Armadillo multi-species fishing spinner
The Armadillo comes in three primary components; Glass, Metal, and Plastic. Plastics are used in certain models for fluorescent and glow properties.
Each of the primaries have models in a variety of weights: 1/10oz, 1/8oz, 1/5oz, and 1/4oz. Large Armadillos in the Muskie/Pike species range from 2/3oz to 3oz.
Armadillos are unique, using the friction disc spaces to protect the beads and also collide with the blade. The Spinner Noise page has several Armadillo recordings for the various types and sizes. This spinner is unique and comes highly recommended for all fish that chase spinners.
I recommend the Armadillo design, if you haven't tried them, I hope you consider giving some a try in your favorite waters. Our brand recognition depends on your buying decisions and increases cast by cast, thanks to your support!
